List Management

Create an article list

Click the "+" icon located in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Fill in the required fields:

  • Name: Choose a memorable name that clearly identifies the article list.
  • Slug: The slug must be all lowercase and should not contain spaces. Consider using hyphens (-) to separate words.

View content of the article list

Click the first button next to the article list you wish to view.

This will redirect you to the masterdata view for this specific article list.

Import Articles into Your List via Batch Import

Click the second button next to the article list where you want to import the articles, as shown in the screenshot below.

This button allows you to upload a CSV file to fill an article list. Information about the SFTP interface is also displayed here.

Edit an article list

Here you can change the basic data of an article list.

Archive an article list

When you archive an article list, all articles associated with it will also be archived. This process excludes the articles from routine checks, such as validating the customs tariff number and other related assessments.

View Archived Articles

To view archived article lists, click the button shown in the screenshot below.

You can also restore archived articles to "active" status from this screen. Once an article is reactivated, it will undergo customs tariff code validation during the next scheduled check, typically at midnight.

Edit Company Settings

To edit your company settings, click the menu shown below and follow the on-screen instructions.

Depending on the jurisdiction, select your standard format for the customs code numbers here. For the legal system of the European Union, this would be the combined nomenclature (i.e. the eight-digit customs code number) or the so-called TARIC and (the ten-digit customs code number), which you need for import processes.

  • Default Settings for Nomenclature Changes Here, you can choose whether your selected standard format (CN or TARIC) should also be applied as the default for mapping changes that occur at the end of the year. ribon
  • Primary Column for Grouping Article Markers In this section, you can select the feature field that will be used to group articles. This will create an additional filtering dropdown menu in the Master Data view, helping you organize articles more efficiently. ribon ::

Feedback

The functions of the workflow for feedback are available to clients who have commissioned MA-TAX Consulting GmbH to carry out a classification.

This function is used to process feedback. It is possible for MA-TAX Consulting GmbH to make queries (ask questions); clients can reply and provide further information on the articles to be classified. Both functions also work in batch mode with CSV upload.
